update 02/11/15

We now have two new exercise bikes at the Friday morning classes at Bromsgrove.

I have asked Helen to check the equipment at the Friday afternoon class in Redditch and tell me if any repairs or replacements are required.

I attend both Bromsgrove Friday morning and Wednesday evening class at Redditch so I can check those myself.

Update: 13/05/2014

It seems that although Fitness superstore were willing originally to help to resolve the equipment issues, they have now decided to hide behind a 'not for commercial use' clause in their warranty and not provide any more help. I shall be writing to their CEO shortly voicing our concerns but do not hold out much hope of any assistance from them.

I have a replacement console for the faulty one at the Wednesday afternoon club. Its only in B&W but at least it works. I will fit this as soon as I can get over to the club.  For the other faulty equipment, I will attempt to fix them asap.

We are struggling a little at the moment with some items of new equipment we bought last year.

Two cycles at Bromsgrove have faulty displays and one of the cross trainers has faulty wheel assemblies. (The replacement displays are on order and should arrive in a week or two)

One of the cycles at the Redditch Friday afternoon classes has a faulty resistance module, this stops the resistance changing although it changes on the display. A missing adapter for the recumbent cycle has now been supplied from the Redditch Wednesday night club. They will be buying a replacement adapter for theirs.

The Wednesday night club just need their new adapter.

If anyone knows of any other faults with equipment please inform the instructor or any committee member.
