Someone will be leading the walk and there will be another person at the back to make sure we are all ok.
The walk is being organised by Redditch Borough Council and we hope you will be able to give your support.

Guess who!!!!
Unfortunately,
Dr Abban the Cardiologist from the Alexandra Hospital has broken her leg and won’t be at work for some time.
* * *
The Cardiology Department is now under a lot of strain with appointments and, as she does the angiograms this could also become a problem.
We all wish you a speedy recovery Dr Abban.

Heart Research UK
HRUK were founded in 1967 by a working heart surgeon, Mr David Watson, who is now their president. When asked why he set up this pioneering charity, he simply said that he knew, even all those years ago, that the knowledge and expertise was out there to help more heart patients, but research was needed to make it affordable and practical.
In their 40th anniversary year, HRUK reached an historic milestone awarding over £1.4 million to universities and hospitals across the UK for medical research.
Hale & Hearties D.V.D.
Anyone who attended the December group meeting would have seen the Hale & Hearties D.V.D; we are now in the process of producing another extended version for the British Heart Foundation. If anyone would like to purchase a copy please let Brian or Denise know. The price of the D.V.D. will be £4 and all moneys will be going to Hale & Hearties funding.

Tickly cough
Two teaspoons of cider vinegar and two of honey mixed with a glassful of water should be taken before meals, or when the irritation occurs. In the evening it would be an idea to have this mixture by your bed so that it can be sipped during the night.
Cider vinegar
Cider vinegar contributes to healthy veins, blood vessels and arteries. Apple cider vinegar has extraordinary potassium content and beneficial malic acid. When purchasing cider vinegar for health, it should have fuzzy sediment (mother), on the bottom, proving that the vinegar is still in the live fermentation stage.
